Pink Sails Waikiki at Turtle Canyon
Pink Sails Waikiki's Turtle Canyon snorkel from the Ala Wai harbor: two hours, 30 to 45 minutes in the water, the free return, ages 7 and up, prices.
Pink Sails Waikiki runs two-hour catamaran trips to Turtle Canyon from the Ala Wai harbor, at 1 Holomoana Street beside the Prince Waikiki hotel, at the western edge of Waikiki. The ride out takes 10 to 15 minutes; at the reef the crew splits the boat into small snorkel groups, each with 30 to 45 minutes in the water with a guide, and the rest of the time you sit on deck. If you see no turtle, the return trip is free. Basic swimming is required and the minimum age is 7. GetYourGuide sells it from $85 a person, Viator from $81 (checked November 2026; checked November 2026).
Viator lists five sailings a day, at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am and 12:30 and 2:00 pm:

Finding the boat
The boat launches from 1 Holomoana Street. The landmark is the Prince Waikiki: the slip is just west of the hotel’s valet area, under a large Pink Sails banner. Check in and board at least 30 minutes before your sailing. Hotel pickup is not included, and if the weather cancels the trip you are offered another date or a refund.
On the water
Pink Sails uses a 55-foot open catamaran or a 50-foot double-decker power catamaran. The crew hands out snorkel gear and gives instructions on the way out, then takes the snorkel groups in turn. Watch the turtles from a respectful distance and never touch or chase them. On GetYourGuide’s version light snacks come with the ride back; on Viator’s, refreshments are sold on board. Bring a towel and biodegradable sunscreen.

Who it suits, and who should pick another boat
It suits swimmers staying at the western end of Waikiki who want a big, stable boat and a short ride. It does not suit children under 7, non-swimmers, or anyone who wants as much time in the water as possible: 30 to 45 minutes is the swim, out of two hours. For longer in the water, Living Ocean Tours stays about an hour and a half at the reef; for younger children, Oceanstar fits flotation on beginners and takes a child fare from 3 on Viator.
Price
From $85 a person on GetYourGuide (checked November 2026) and from $81 on Viator (checked November 2026). Tips are not included. See every operator in the price comparison.
Pink Sails against the other Ala Wai boats
Three Tiki Sailing leaves from the same harbor, behind the Prince Waikiki at the same street address, for two hours under sail: a lifeguard-certified crew, guides in the water, flotation vests for everyone and a cooler for the drinks you bring, with turtles promised. Pink Sails is the bigger boat with a set swim slot per group; Three Tiki Sailing is a sail, from $84 in current promotion (usually $99) a person on Viator (checked November 2026).
